Castle Rock Business Corridor Association is Inaugurated
(PRWEB) January 11, 2010 -- The major commercial area of Castle Rock, Colorado has come of age with the formation of a new business association called the Castle Rock Business Corridor Association (http://castlerockbusinesscorridor.com). The Corridor is a beltway of Meadows Parkway and Founders Parkway extending 5 miles from the Meadows Commercial area eastward to the Metzler Ranch subdivision.
The Association recently held its formative meeting and elected William L. Henry IVof Robinson & Henry P.C. as its first President. “ The Primary Reason for the Association is to support Castle Rock’s growing commercial sector and connect businesses and local residents to create a stronger and more vibrant economy. I’m happy to have this opportunity to serve our community where our law firm resides.” Henry said.
There are over 300 businesses in the Corridor ranging in size from one man shops to big box stores such as Walmart, Target, King Soopers, Home Depot and Lowe’s. The Corridor has a rich and colorful history dating back to the War of 1812. Douglas County’s oldest resident family lives in the corridor and the corridor has been the home of the first commercial enterprise in the Castle Rock area. The Corridor includes three ghost towns dating from Colorado’s Pioneer days.
Tentative Plans for the Association include four quarterly events including a “New Memphis in May” Blues and Barbecue Weekend, among other events.
The Association is temporarily located in the offices of Robinson & Henry P.C. at 757 Maleta Lane #104, Castle Rock, CO 80108. The Web Site for the Association is castlerockbusinesscorridor.com and the phone number is 303-688-0944.
